+3650 points — Forex strategy «Robbery» for XAUUSD / Gold

Forex strategy «Robbery» is based on modified indicators based on the CCI indicator. It is based on the simplest principle, determining the main trend and entering at the completion of corrections in the direction of the main direction. However, unlike other similar systems, this trading strategy, using its indicators, generates quite promising entry points in terms of the ratio of potential profit to loss.

From August 2020 to August 2021, the strategy showed a positive result of +3650 points. The maximum drawdown reached 350 points. For this period, three months were closed with a negative result.

• Time interval — H1.
• Instrument — XAUUSD (gold).

• Filter CCI indicator with parameters 14; 1; 1; 1; 2; 100.
• Equinox_CCI indicator with parameters 140.

Conditions for buying forex strategy «Robbery» for XAUUSD:

1) The Equinox_CCI indicator is above zero.

2) The Filter CCI indicator crosses its zero mark from the bottom up and continues to grow. At the close of the next candle, the scale of this indicator is above the level of 100.

3) At the opening of the next candle, a buy trade is opened.

4) Stop loss is set at a distance of 50 points.

5) Upon reaching 50 points in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to breakeven.

6) Take profit is 200 pips.

7) To receive a second signal in the same direction, the Filter CCI indicator must fall below its 0 level and return above it again.

Conditions for selling gold:

1) The Equinox_CCI indicator is below its zero mark.

2) And Filter CCI crosses its «0» mark from top to bottom and continues to decline further. At the close of the next hourly candle, the scale of this indicator is below the 100 level.

3) At the opening of the next H1 candle, a sell trade is opened.

4) Safety order — Stop-Loss is set at a distance of 50 points from the market entry point.

5) Upon reaching +50 points in the «+» zone, the transaction is transferred to the breakeven point.

6) Profit fixation order — take profit is set at a distance of +200 points from the entry.

7) To receive a second signal in the same direction, the Filter CCI indicator must rise above its own level of 0 and fall below again.
