Forex strategy «Luxury» is a clearly expressed trend trading system, which gives very good entry points at the moments of the trend. But, despite its whole trend nature, at the moments of lateral movements, it very rarely gives signals, which allows you to protect the deposit from unnecessary risks of losing funds on your deposit at these moments.
Statistics:
From December 2021 to December 2022, the strategy for only one pair (EUR/USD) showed a result of +1200 points. The maximum drawdown was 160 points.
- Time interval — H1. However, the authors indicate that quite working intervals are above M5 (but we did not check!).
- Currency pair — EUR/USD. (Although the TS is multi-currency, but again, we have not tested it on other pairs!).
Indicators:
- Exponential moving average — EMA with a period of 20
- Exponential Moving Average — EMA with a period of 50
- Moving — EMA with a period of 200
- MAX_OBOS Oscillator indicator. For easy installation, use the MT4 template (you will find the link below the video at the end of this page), since this indicator needs to be installed about 40 times with different settings. Let’s divide this indicator into two groups: red group and blue group.
Conditions for buying under the Luxury strategy:
1) EMA 20 is above EMA 50 and EMA 200.
2) EMA 50 is above EMA 200.
3) After all the lines of the red group of the MAX_OBOS Oscillator indicator were below the blue group, we wait for at least one of the lines of the red group to go above the entire blue group. The intersection itself should not occur already above the level of 0.85.
4) If the same candle closes above all moving averages, then you should close a buy deal at its close.
5) Stop loss is set under EMA 50, but not less than 25 points. And no more than 60 points.
6) After passing 30 points in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to breakeven.
7) Take profit is twice the stop loss.
8) Re-entry in the same direction can be considered only after the transfer of the previous transaction to breakeven.
Conditions for sales for TS Luxury:
1) Moving EMA 20 is below the following 2: EMA 50 and EMA 200.
2) The average EMA 50 is below the moving average EMA 200.
3) After all the lines of the red group of the MAX_OBOS Oscillator indicator were above the blue group, we wait until at least one of the lines of the red group went below the entire blue group. The intersection itself should not occur already below the level of 0.85.
4) If the same candle closes below all EMA moving averages, then you should open a sell trade at its close.
5) Insurance order — stop loss, is set above the EMA 50, but it should not be less than 25 points. And should not be more than 60 points.
6) After the price passes +30 points in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to the breakeven point.
7) We fix the deal at the take profit, which should be 2 times larger than the size of the set stop loss.
8) Re-entry in the same direction — for sale, can be considered only after the transfer of the previous transaction to breakeven.
