THTS Gold System Trading Strategy, as the name suggests, is designed specifically for gold trading. It allows you to profit from strong trends, giving an entry signal at the end of almost every more or less visible correction.
In weakly expressed trends, the strategy also allows you to earn, but less. But in lateral movements, the trading system generates signals very rarely, which is its advantage.
Statistics:
From January 2017 to January 2018, the strategy showed a result in the region of +1350 points (only one digit after the decimal point is taken into account). The drawdown did not exceed 150 points.
- The trading instrument is XAU/USD (gold).
- Time interval — H4.
Indicators:
- Exponential moving average with a period of 13 — EMA13.
- Heiken Ashi3 indicator
Conditions for purchases under the «THTS Gold System» strategy:
1) The price is above the moving average and the Heiken Ashi3 indicator is blue, indicating an increase.
2) Next, the correction begins, and the indicator turns red. No candle closes below the moving average.
3) At the close of the next candle, the Heiken Ashi3 indicator turns blue again.
4) At 5 points above the maximum of the last candle, an order is placed — Buy Stop.
5) Stop loss is 50-55 points.
6) After passing 55 points in the positive zone, the transaction is transferred to breakeven.
7) As soon as the Heiken Ashi3 indicator turns red, the trade is closed at the market price.
Sales conditions:
1) The price on the gold chart is below the EMA13 moving average, and the Heiken Ashi3 indicator is red, indicating a decline.
2) Next, a correction begins on the chart, and the indicator turns blue. In this case, it is necessary that not a single candle closes above the moving average.
3) At the close of the next H4 candle, the Heiken Ashi3 indicator turns red again.
4) A pending sell order is placed 5 points below the low of the last candle — Sell Stop.
5) Safety order — stop loss is equal to 50-55 points.
6) After the price passes +55 points, the transaction is transferred to the breakeven point.
7) As soon as the Heiken Ashi3 indicator turns blue, the trade is closed at the current market price, whether it is profitable or not.
